The Great Bakery Update Date: November 18!

Well, it's almost here! The Great BS Update Date! This week is the last week before Thanksgiving, so get your ovens and drink makers ready, because the guests need somewhere to get the desserts to bring to the hosts! We have some wonderful teasers, thanks to GM. Not only do we have ONE pie this week, but we have TWO pies this week. Matter of fact, I think they are thye only two pies not normally served at Thanksgiving! Pecan Pie and Key Lime Pie!

There is a gem sale every week it's mostly on Monday or Tuesday and it is usually 20% discount
And RARELY they make 30% or 40%

what are the times for the pies? what else is in the update?

I like the lower prices the 20 gems sounds reasonable compared to 45 or 50 gems i've seen before for special items. I thought the poodle was reasonably priced too

My pastry art is 30 gems and I didn't get a countdown. I got a text-only popup that said it was a limited time offer, and nowhere in the popup or on the pastry art box does it tell me how long the offer is good for.

No, its random and device independent. I usually get all my updates on Friday but have not gotten my BS update on Friday for the last 3 weeks. I am on Android.

Go into Design, and in the decorations tab scroll through and look for it. Last week and this week they didn't show up at the beginning, but several screens later.

I just got the limited time offer. Will need to wait until Tues for the pecan pie and key lime pie. No problem, I'll still have them mastered and have to wait for the next update.

I got the 2 pie updates, but in the pop-up, it said included in this update are something called Chef Alex and Teapot Still Life. Anyone know what these are, where they are or have pictures??
I can't seem to locate these items.

I just wish they didn't make it with so many servings. I'm never going to run out of food in my bakery unless I stop playing for 6 months.

I always thought pecan pie was a traditional Thanksgiving pie.

Now that I've baked the key lime pie, I have to say it's probably one of my favorites - kudos to the designers on that one. I have it spread out in my bakery on multiple counters because I think it's so pretty :).
