Well, it's almost here! The Great RS Update Date! This is the last week before Thanksgiving, so get your stoves and ovens ready! This week we still aren't seeing authentic Thanksgiving items, but if you find some way to tie the Renaisance to Thanksgiving, be my guest! This week we have two wonderful teasers, thanks to GM! The Maypole and Cask, coming soon to the TeamLava supply warehouse!

I was thinking exactly the same thing... Lately all the decorations that are being released cost gems, not even one little Halloween item for coins... This week's items look like they might be for gems too. The game is honestly getting boring((((

I agree, I think we should of gotten thanksgiving items! Thanksgiving is in 6 days, and the by the nextt update, thanksgiving will be over!!! I agree with them NOT costing gems, come on! Give us a break, esp the.android users like myself, who are always left behind!!

Thanksgiving is only in the US, and having pilgrim and Mayflower decorations wouldn't go well with those who won't be celebrating Thanksgiving this week. Autumn stuff would have been okay, although its not autumn everywhere.

I baked pumpkin pies the last 2 days, and am now making Turkey. So you can still celebrate Thanksgiving somewhat.

Correct. Not in most restaurants, but I'd rather have a spinning wheel than a tropical island or frog butler.

Hey.. I'd get a frog butler if I was able to get it guaranteed but not spending 24 gems to chance it haha.

Who would object to thanksgiving themed items? Cornucopia display, a big fat turkey walking around, hanging leaf wall decoration.

I think it'd be fun to have podiums for special occasions. When they are placed the chef has a different outfit. Thanksgiving could have the chef in pilgrim clothing.

I agree, the items seem pointless now, They're building upon a theme and those go with it.

But they could have added fall decorations. That would have been nice and appropriate.

As far as food, their main dishes are typically served on plates with sides. The turkey is served with mashed potatoes and gravy.

Didn't pay attention to your username when I posted that. Yeah, I guess you would like the frog butler. Was just thinking back to a post earlier this week where someone complained about getting a bunch of frog butlers and fish butlers from a box. :)

Fall decorations not associated with Thanksgiving is something TL could have released and most could have enjoyed, but for whatever reason, they didn't.

Me, too, lehcar1. I just mastered olives and cheese this morning and all I have left are 3 sushi recipes. I won't be doing much in RS this week.

well, some restaurants have antique items for people to sit by it and take photos with it. So I guess the spinning wheel serves that purpose?

hey maybe a thanksgiving dish next week, it will be after thanksgiving, but who does not eat leftovers for weeks after thanksgiving???? Maybe they will add a bread machine, then turkey sandwiches!!
