View Full Version : How many multiples are normal?

I've been buying the mystery mail box. I've gotten 5 fish butlers and 2 frog butlers. I'm really wanting some of the other things in the box but I'm afraid to keep buying and getting more butlers. Is this normal for everyone else? I'm playing Restaurant Story.

what you get is random every time, like rolling a dice or flipping a coin

Yes I figured that out. I'm not upset or anything just wondering if others are getting that many multiples or even more. I've just kinda lost the excitement of trying again:)

I've seen posts where if you keep buying the same box over and over again you have a better chance of getting duplicates than if you close out of the box, reopen and buy again.

Yeah, because if you click "Buy Again" the odds are it will be a duplicate.

COMMON (4thprize, 54%)

UNCOMMON(3rd prize, 35%)

RARE (2ndprize, 10%)

EXCEPTIONAL(1st prize, 1%)

I did hit the Buy again bottom one time thinking I would get the same item again but quickly found out that's not the case..I'm sure I will try again later on..I could always change my RS name to The Butlers. Lol

I always seem to get a higher item from the boxes when I click buy again.Usually on first click I get 3rd or 4th prize,but when I buy again I tend to get 2nd or first.I must have been very lucky,to have never recieved the same item.
Some of my nbrs do have lots of multiples of the same item.It is a shame when you really want a specific item,but I guess no one has control over what we recieve.It must be very disappointing to keep getting the same item.
