It's only good as long as milk - and it only comes in 1/2 gallon size. You should be able to drink that before you leave ;)

I LIKE rum...it is something else in there that I don't like...can't pinpoint it exactly. I'll stick with Bailey's Irish Cream with a hint of Caramel.

YUMMM.....

Agreed! I don't like eggs either but I love egg nog. I've never had it with rum, though. Normally I'm in favor of spiking drinks, but I'm not sold on the promise of the flavor combo. Phthon, that flavor you cannot pinpoint is called LIQUID AWESOME.

Hmm... I think it's time for a cup of nog.

So if it doesnt taste like eggs, then whats really in it? What does it taste like?

Around me, I got this awesome place called Stew Leonards. It is an amazing super-duper supermarket. They only have like 5 locations though. They have the BEST egg nog. They ussually get it in around next week, so I am really excited. I actually prefer nutmeg in it, really makes it better.

Ingredients

6 egg, separated*
3/4 cup sugar
1 pint heavy cream (http://www.foodterms.com/encyclopedia/cream/index.html)
4 pints milk (http://www.foodterms.com/encyclopedia/milk/index.html)
1/2 pint Bourbon (http://www.foodterms.com/encyclopedia/bourbon/index.html)
1 tablespoon vanilla
Nutmeg
Eggs are in it but it is like a cake. Cake has eggs but you cannot taste the egg. Real thick and sweet. Hard to describe the taste.

I guess I haven't found an egg nog that is my cup of tea (as my mom would say). From what I've tried, it's just really thick and not tasty.
