Problem building appliance

Hi guys, I wonder if you can help me...

I've bought gems to finish my sushi bar, and have clicked on 'finish for @@ gems' and then clicked on 'build it'. Then it takes the gems off me, and doesn't build the sushi bar. Instead, it makes me start from scratch!!! I've wasted around 30 gems and I'm so annoyed.

Has anybody else had the same problem? Its happened on Bakery Story too, I'm so mad! :mad:

I should add that I'm playing it on an iPad, if that makes any difference...

So when you hit build it, the sushi bar just stays the same? Have you tried deleting the game and redownloading it to see if the sushi bar then comes back as completed or your gems are returned?

(first restart you device).

None of those seemed to work, however, since posting this, the problem with the Restaurant story one has rectified itself. I am still waiting for a reply on the Bakery Story one on the other board. Thanks for your help anyway.
