Stuck on two missions 1. Get social 2.Enter the Dragon..

On mission 1 that I'm stuck on , it will not show a progress when I send an invite to a "friend".. it stays 0/2 then when I give neighbors 3 energy the progress gets erased when I restart the game/ login later.

On mission 2................................................. ......... where was I suppose to get 50 gems to buy a pet dragon? Did I miss out on something? As far as I know... there is no kind of mastery in zoo story yet for me to even earn half the gems needed for the dragon... what is the reward for this mission anyway?... fail. Help me please!... Jesus save me!

I did not have the tasks for Zoo, so I am not sure of the dragon one.
