As I was tipping in the community, I noticed that some restaurants where operating without a host or hostess. Is that an option in the game? Or can you delete your host/hostess?

If you post your hosting table against an item and don't leave room for the host to stand behind it then they disappear. It gives you extra space really and the customers still stop by it.

It also happens if you post the host table against the edge of restaurant.

My host has just vanished overnight, haven't moved any of the tables etc. she just vanished, any ideas how to get her back, cannot operate the game without her, nobody is staying in the restaurant!

Go into design mode and purchase or place a host table in an open space.
