Game says I am offline when I am online

The game wont open because it says I am offline when in fact my internet is working just fine. Bakery story works just fine but restaurant story wont open. Makes me angry because now my food is going to soil and I am going to lose credit for it and have to start over. What is voing on. It worked a couple of hours ago but now it wont.
