The Great Bakery Update Date: October 14!

Well, it's almost here! The Great BS Update Date! This week wasn't very exciting, but we did recieve a teaser from GM for a Seance Table! Here it is:

Besides our ghost-like table, we still can have hopes:

1. A new recipe
2. A 40% off gem sale to get all the new stuff!
3. A new Halloween table & chair!

Thank you. I totally missed the Gravestone Brownies. They placed it 3rd in the cookbook instead of 1st like they normally do with new items. Spooky Window, Candy Corn Coffee and Pumpkin Cookies were released last week.

They're most likely coming out with a special Halloween version and they want you to download it. If they released the recipes in the regular version, people may not use the Halloween version.

Similarly, I still can't figure out why lemon lime soda needs an Android Market release. Its been missing for 2 months and it seems like it can be released like a weekly release.

I've been in the mode for months waiting for a weekly update because there is nothing else for me to cook or bake in RS or BS. Before today, I was 34 glazed donuts away from mastering everything in BS and was done by last Saturday mastering Witch's Stew in RS. By Mon or Tues I won't have anything left to do in either of those games since my games are limited in features. So the world won't come to an end if you have to wait a very little time longer for your update.

Sometimes I get the pop ups and sometimes I don't. What I do is turn off my wi-fi on my phone and try to connect to Bakery. I get the try again message, so I turn my wifi on and connect to bakery and BOOM there are the Gem offers. Hope if works ... 

I was able to receive my weekly updates on Friday the last two weeks and I am really happy about that. Thank you, TL. My customers have been enjoying the pumpkin cookies and candy corn coffee for over a week now, and are now enjoying fresh baked graveyard brownies.

I'm glad I got the updates early, because of the yield of each. Earlier this week I felt I would still have the cookies and coffee on my counters at Christmas. I'll be done baking the brownies this weekend and I might have the brownies still on my counters next year.

I like the holidays, but do not decorate much for them, even in real life. I do not plan to spend gems for halloween decorations, so a halloween view of my bakery would look out of place.

And thank you, TL, for the 6 free gems I got for each of my games last week.

It looks they updated since yesterday.

Now I have the Netherworld Gate for 70 gems and the Coffin Couch for 35 gems. Last week's and this week's free gift offers.

They also removed the Peanut Butter Cookies from the first spot in the cookbook since it is 2 weeks old. They really should have moved Gravestone Brownies before the Pumpkin Cookies since the pumpkin cookies were from last week.

I have mastered the Graveyard Brownies. Last weekend I mastered the Pumpkin Cookies and Candy Corn Coffee. I am looking forward to next week's update, hoping for more halloween food items.

I was happy to have been able to serve pumpkin cookies and candy corn coffee 24/7 for over a week. I have been able to serve graveyard brownies 24/7 since Saturday morning and am happy about that.

Thanksgiving in Nov is US only, so I'm not sure if pilgrim cookies and indian wallpaper will be hot items. Canada had their Thanksgiving earlier this month.

I believe that Bakery will be receiving a Halloween version, like Farm, Restaurant, and Fashion. Not sure when it will be released, but hopefully soon.

Can I tell you how frustrating it is to look at the iTunes everytime and not find a halloween update or BS Halloween app. I used to love the BS above all story games and wont hesitate to buy gems just to decorate my bakery. I was looking forward to Halloween, one of my most fav holiday decors. But I guess I can't do that now. I feel really sad about it. It's terrible.
