Unlock dishes

I'm at 11th level, but no new dishes has unlocked from the previous levels (like strawberries shortcakes, pepperoni pizza, cupcakes). i'm stuck with the first 8 dishes or so. Any hint?

I'm not sure but I think around level 7 there is an option to buy an oven so, anything you would need an oven for doesn't come up until you have the actual oven to make them in.

I too cannot unlock food, I don't get offered the option to purchase an oven or a grill, only stoves.

You'll need to scroll the appliance menu in order to see the stove and grill.
