Inventory. Not in settings

Hi,
I'm having trouble with getting into my Inventory.
One of the goals won't go away and keeps telling me to go through the steps for it.
When I follow the steps given it isn't within the area I'm suppose to do it.

While I'm here. Is Farm Story on Facebook ?
Do we need to like it to have the game function properly so I can do the goals?

Im enjoying this game. So I'd like to be able to do the steps asked.

To get into Inventory:

Tap on Tools (bottom right)
Tap on Edit (bottom right)
Tap on Inventory (bottom left)
Your inventory is displayed. You might have to scroll through it to see all your items in Inventory

Are you talking about the tasks? (icons upper left of the screen) If so are you on android or a Ipod, iPhone, Ipad?
