Is there any way of finding out the star rating of the person requesting neighborship since you cannot see it when you visit them (other than asking of course)? And, on the other hand, how can you visit a person to see their shop when they show up on the "accept neighbor" list because the got your id from another feed or master list?

accept them, check out their shop and if you don't like it, delete them. Simple.

Yeah, that's what I do as well. I'm careful since I have soooo many pending invites on BS and RS from when I first started and just added random IDs that people posted on others' walls.
