I looked all over and can't find the soda machine!

Go into appliances, where the stoves, ovens, and grills are.

If you can't see a soda machine for 10,000 coins, then you might be on an older version of RS. If on Android, it was a manual release in August. If on iDevice, it would be on a release since June, and not available on the Valentine's version.

It's actually called a "Drink Machine," not soda machine.
