View Full Version : Catalog Graphics AWFUL [after iSO update]

*Kooky, sorry if this was supposed to be posted in bugs. I wasn't sure, as I don't know for sure that it is one?*
So I did the iSO update in the App store for Fashion Story today [iTunes]! I love mostly all the changes most noticeably in other stories. However when I went to order a few things just now, I noticed almost all of the girls in the catalog looked weird for a moment. After a few seconds I realized the graphics are now HORRIBLY fuzzy/blurry/scratchy looking and others are still the same. The only way I could best explain this is by giving pictures of all my pages. I apologize for the [huge] images, I wanted it to be seen clearly.
It was fine before the update, I can only assume the update caused it. Once I'm in the actual items screen to order from - they are all fine. It's only the outfit catalog screens that are currently this way.

I did check my game to. Weird. I will mention this , not a priority compared to some other issues going on, but I will throw in in the mix.
Thanks for the pics. I am sure Gm does not play fashion, so photos are good!!

Oh, I know it's a minor issue. I'm not dying here or anything. It just bugs my eyeballs. LOL. It's more important to me that I can see things clearly in the store itself.
BUT CAN I JUST SAY **off topic on catalog but on topic for iSO update** I SOMEHOW NOW HAVE ANOTHER SLOT?!?!?!?! Gems are still the same, it wasn't an accidental button touch. Oh yeah baby!
Anyways, back on topic, when you said "I did check my game to" did you mean that you have the glitchy look too? As for GM/Photos, glad I could help :)

woah loll i just noticed this!! well it didnt really bother me since i didnt notice but im sure it will get fixed later cuz it wont be on the top of their list lol they still need to give us a block button! lol i hope this is thier first priority:P

Yeah, I wasn't saying it needed to be prioritized. However the block button would take a little longer to develop/implement than a graphic fix. I'm sure they are working on the block button, I swear it's taking too long though.

I was just about to come on here and post the same thing, it appear to be only with that Cowgirl look/hat.
If you are wearing sunglasses, in the little avatar version in the top left corner of a person's store....the sunglasses/glasses are off centered.

I have reported to Gm the weird issues with the graphics after the update. There are many.
Actually the more pictures the better so TL can see all the issues.
Yes. I have the blurry catalog too. Neighbor's with the cowgirl hat and wig avatar looks bald too. I didn't get an extra slot. I still have only 22 at level 50.

This probably doesn't belong here either but after the update i noticed that while scrolling through my neighbors, the scroll is really jerky- also hard on the eyes. I don't have the catalog problem. Has anyone else noticed this - it is not a problem on any of the other games.

I agree with the scrolling being "dramatically slow" right after the update but from the next day on that part has been normal for me again. I still have the yucky blurry catalog though. TL needs a better photographer *wink wink*

lol it's Arabic numbers :P
Though my iPad is English don't know why the numbers keep showing in Arabic
The extra Order Slots actually are added if you had purchased an Order Slot previously, as this has now been changed from an "Early Unlock from Leveling" to an additional slot obtained apart from Level Unlocks. Enjoy the extra slots!

But keep in mind, that if you had gotten all of your normal leveling up slots ( total of 22), then you bought an extra slot after that you probably will not be receiving any additional slots.
My understanding is that these extra slots are making up for when ppl at the beginning of the game bought slots early to have extra ones , then we found out that we were not buying additional slots, we were paying to unlock slots early. So for example when I bought 4 additional slots when I was on level 10, I did not get 4 slots that I should of gotten when I leveled up.
This was a big issue way back and Team Lava is now correcting this.. (Thanks TL).

Yeah I just went in my game and my cowgirl hat is big again and all my western clothes now fit. TL has fixed this issue!!!!
Now my avatar is ready to go "boot scootin'"
