Hey guys,

I like to post pictures of people using the new updates in-game on Fridays for our lovely TeamLava Blog (http://blog.teamlava.com). If you'd like to help out, and potentially get your restaurant/farm/etc. posted on our blog, then post pics of your account using the new content here!

I'll create a similar thread each week, assuming people are willing. :cool:

I didn't get them either I got all the updates plus when I go click on the gems it shows me the time offer but it never pops up with the item I really want to see what it is too

Same here...I took a risk on restaurant story and bought 105 gems, to see if I get a free gift.....I didn't.

Same here about missing out on the offer, very worried. I just got an update notice on my ipod for RS, BS, Farm & Fashion, ran them hoping it fixed this but instead now have something call Collectibles in main menu on RS.

I haven't gotten any of the updates this week for RS or BS! I didn't get any of the new recipes and I didn't get any of the new items, no "the weekly update is here" pop up and no free item pop up. I have restarted my phone, uninstalled and re-installed both apps. Its ridiculous.... I never get the updates on time or even close to the day. I have a HTC Inspire and if that's the reason then I will probably stop playing, I am just upset that if it is because I am not on a Iphone then why would TL release a game on the andriod market that is not fully ready for the full experience. Don't release something unless its ready thats all that I ask because I have put money into this game and now I feel robbed, I am also a paying customer and just because I do not have an Iphone does not mean I should be treated unfairly

No, Android isnt second class to TL. I just think it has to do with software and the fact that more users are on iDevices, so most of their software is easily compatible with us iDevice users. Try submitting apps to different App Stores and different devices, and something will go wrong. Probably. I think. Maybe.

Some Halloween items were inadvertently added a few weeks ago for a few hours. I was able to purchase the Raven Tree and a few gothic tables, and make a few new halloween recipes before TL removed them. I am guessing that they will be brought back at some point.

Sorry for posting multiple times, can't edit.. just realised now that the parts under Gifts are merely there for you to see how many you currently have.. once you have an appliance to be built.. it actually counts what you have under Gifts.. for example.. under Gifts, I have 4 screws.. my appliance will show that I already have 4 screws out of 10 required.

I cannot retrieve any of the parts for use. I get a message that the parts " are constructable and cannot be eaten". What in the world???? HELP!!!! I have a good bunch of constructable materials and cannot use them.

You actually have to be building an appliance. The My Gifts is just your inventory so you can see how many of each part you have. Once you purchase a constructable appliance and click on the box of parts, you can see how much you still need or if you have all the parts. Once you have all the parts and click Build It, if you go back to My Gifts, you'll see that those parts were subtracted from your inventory. But the parts in My Gifts are not like food where you can click and apply them somewhere. They're literally just an inventory. Personally, that's what I like best about this last update. I can finally see how many parts I have and what I can build immediately and what I would need to send materials requests for.

The parts are for the constructible appliances. If u go to the design tab where the ovens etc are, you'll see some with a picture of a hammer on them. Those are what the materials are for. You cant use the materials until u build one of those appliances. Until then they'll stay in your gift section.
