I notice some of the prizes if you click on them it shows a picture of the prize it would be mice if you could give it to when you click on the name it shows what it looks like. Sorry forgot to respond you in previous post but I believe they discontinue some boxes cause they are only seasonal and are there only for a short period of time.

I don't know how but I got trigger happy buying gems one day on restarant story, I bought the rose bouquet box and got the first prize, the swan pond..then I moved onto the magic shell box, received the pearl fountain first prize also! Here's the pics..

I agree with meikailani regarding the post being helpful and the part about not being able to pick what you want. I can't understand why I have to continuously purchase the same items back to back, especially when it's not what I want. They should at least rotate the levels with every purchase or give us the option to choose which items we want. The keyword here is PURCHASE; meaning we buy it with real money.

and it would be nice if we could gift or sell (for gems) items we dont want from the boxes (specially duplicate items).

Can anyone explain the process to me of how these work? I've not wanted to use up gems on something with no idea what happens next. Do you randomly with 1st -3rd place and then choose from items in that place or you just get one thing? Options to buy more with coins? Any help to understand would be appreciated. Thanks!

It's a gamble - you spend 24 gems, you receive one item (randomly). The chance of which item you could receive are listed in the first post of this thread, along with which boxes contain which items. So if you buy from the Magic Shell box (for example), you will receive one item listed there.

I see that Holiday Gift Box is not on the List yet.
I got some prizes from that Special Box:
Holiday Story = 2nd prize
Holiday Express = 2nd prize
Santa's Toy Bench = 3rd prize
Elf Carolers = (I'm not sure if it was 3rd or 4th prize)
Letters to Santa = 4th prize
Toy Bag = 4th prize
Elf with Gift = 4th prize
Snow Globe = 4th prize

And I can tell you two prizes in the Christmas box in fashion story. One is a mirror shaped as a tree and the other is a pair of Xmas tree sunglasses for your avatar that does nothing. At the time I didn't know you could get duplicates and there was no way I was going to chance getting those hideous glasses again for 24 gems.

I'm in shock that people would continuously buy mystery box after mystery box at 5$ a pop to try to get a certain item. If you don't want to get duplicates protest against buying gems until they turn on the no duplicate button. I would buy boxes over again if I was sure to get something different each time. But like I said before until there is a confirmation box I won't buy a single gem, unless there is a 90% off sale.

I am 100% with you! I finally got enough courage to purchase the gems to check out the football chest, I got a 4th level prize, a "cheer set". It's an ok item, but possibly getting that again, no way man!!!! It's obvious you shouldn't be able to the get same item twice. At least the first round, bc some things might be wanted twice, then MAYBE they could fix it to where after you go through all 4 prizes, you can choose, that way people will still be interested.

I like free games, but games I really enjoy, I like to support. I do not have any kind of extra $$ to be spending in this kind of stuff but I do it anyway. I find it a necessity to spend money on things I REALLY WANT. Until this change is mafe, that 24 gems will stay in my pot. :(

I love steampunk but the new box doesnt do anything for me. where is the steam or the punk? a big grandfather clock or a huge oven running on steam? Apologies for being a purist but a gold arcade machine
is just not proper steampunk.
