Limit on number of slots in fs?

Hi is there a limit on the number of slots u can have in fs? O
I'm on level 52 and I have 23 slots..

Yes the limit is 22. You can purchase more with gems.

I heard that buying slots only "unlocks" them earlier. Does buying a slot "unlock" it earlier or increase your amount of slots?

There would be no way to lower the cost? 25 gems is very expensive... PLEASE.

OMG- I worked on earning gems all evening last night only to slip my finger and accidentally spend 25 on a slot. I was so upset!

Awww!!! I am only level 40 and I already have all 22 slots. I can't believe that's the max! I feel like clothes take WAY longer to master than recipes and there's 4 of them to each outfit!!!!!
