The Great Update Date: Equinox! 9-23

Well, tomorrow is the Equinox, but it is also something even more important! The Great RS Update Date! We waited an entire week to recieve another update, and the wait is almost over! Some of us are getting settled in with our badges, having them for almost two weeks now. We found out that we will soon be getting new gifts for Halloween, thanks to GM and the TL Blog. Here is a pic of the new *Spooky* Gifts!

That update is not for this week, but should be coming pretty soon. For this week, GM has released a *Tropical* Teaser. Maybe this is the start of a new theme...?

But, either way, we must always have hopes! What I am wishing for:

1. 2 new recipes (Maybe like pineapple bread)
2. The tiki head to NOT be a gem prize
3. Some cool Halloween stuff!

I got the fruit island, Bird of Pardise display and surf boards. I don't have them out yet as I have to remodel. These new items definitely don't go with all of the oriental items lol!

I got the weekly update and no halloween gifts...are u idevice? I'm on android and android very rarely gets the new features like idevice...still waiting for portobello mushrooms, lemon-lime soda, badges, etc...

Yep, Eyeball Stew and Mummy Pizza are available to gift for RS.

Well, now there are weekly updates to supplement new recipes. Lots of people had asked for new gifts, and I suppose TL wanted something unique to it-also, if you have to have neighbours to get it, surely it improves the social aspect?

I got new deco items in RS, but no recipes... people are saying they have 5 new recipes?? The Halloween Gifts as recipes plus 3 others? I have the Halloween Gifts AS gifts, but I can't cook them. And I have no other new recipes... but I got the new deco, like the Hawaiian Table and Coconut Chair and the Island Chest is there... but no recipes? I thought the updates came as ONE update... not part of it now, and part on Tue. I thought if I was a Tue update, I wouldn't get ANYTHING until Tue? I don't understand!

I also got the chest, chair and table but no recipes. They usually come together. So you're not alone.

I think the released the recipes BY ACCIDENT. Only a handful of people got them and it was during late hours and TL realized it was a mistake. Now no one has new recipes (as far as I know) and they announced that the recipes will be released at a later date.

I didn't know there WAS any other "deco" other than the table, chair & box. lol And also, I thought people were posting still on Fri and Sat that they were STILL cooking things, like the halloween gift foods... I have them as gifts, but can't cook them. But some people were saying they could still cook them on Fri & Sat I thought. That's what was confusing. Plus the people saying they got other recipes, and some of those people were posting late Fri that they had them. It's just confusing, especially since I only got some things on one game on one device, but the other game on that device, and my other device didn't get ANY of the stuff. And none of them got popups, except the gift box pop up. I didn't get a pop up about the new chairs/tables tho, and of course no popups about recipes or anything. It's so hard to follow sometimes lol especially when they don't send everyone the same things at the same time, which is also confusing to me... but oh well, not a huge deal. I just hope we all get those recipes eventually, I'm still upset they took recipes away... I hope they learned to stop doing that in the future, we don't care if it's holiday related, we want to keep ALL recipes!!!
