I can play a toy piano if the keys are color coded and it comes with a book of songs with color coded notes to match.

I played flute for about a week and clarinet for a couple years when I was younger. I can play one song on the piano. I'm not very talented so I selected none lol. Although I am pretty good at guitar hero...

I marked only cello because that's the only one that I'm good on. I've also taken lessons on piano, harp, clarinet, and trumpet. And I'm vaguely self-taught on violin and recorder.

In elementary school I learned some viola, but didn't pick up on it. Instead I went the singing route, love to sing. :)

Not really. I play piano and organ and yes the notes are the same as violin but its completely different to play. Knowing how to play a keyboard instrument does not mean you can play a string one at all. Trust me on this. I'm one year from my teachers degree in organ and can't play a thing on a violin or cello.

pinksters right all instruments have the same music notes except drums they have like x's lol they're not the same at all! maybe the notes but the strings aren't the same maybe if ur comparing violin and guitar.. but they're both different since violins dont give u callusus..:/

I can play the piano, but not like with music and stuff. I can just play random music. I would love to play on the drums. But the real thing is, I cant play a musical instrument. My paents sugned up stuff like sports, etc but not music, sadly. Most of my friends are pros now, and I think its too late for me to play. My friends who plays the piano are either lvl 10, or more. Sigh.
Didnt I already posted a comment here? :O

Then you would be able to pick up learning the violin, cello, and string instruments a lot quicker then someone just starting.

haha, sorry i sounded so confusing. i was trying to say that the piano and violin notes are the same, so I could probably play the violin because 1. the notes are the same and 2. i also play the viola, which is similar to the violin, except the notes are different. :p
