I did the same with my barn. Besides losing a lot of coins (since I bought it with 120000 and sell it with a few...), there was nothing I could have done.

How did you accidentally sell it? With all items, you'd have to double-tap to sell and with expensive items like houses, barns, etc. you also have to confirm your wish to sell because the game actually asks you if you are sure you want to sell the item, making accidental sales very unlikely unless you were half asleep when it happened.

Oh, but to answer your question about what you should do, I don't think there is much that you can do except to accept that you've blown away 48 gems. You might wish to try writing to the Team to see if they're feeling charitable, but if I were you, I'd just take it as an expensive lesson and move on.
