I keep getting this message "We were unable to send the material to your friend" when I try to respond to material requests. I still sometimes get the one that they have already accepted enough materials today, so I know that's not the problem. Does anyone else get this message? I've tried quitting the game and restarting my device but it doesn't fix it.

Yes I have been getting this a lot since the latest update. Just one of the irritating glitches at the moment, the constant resyncing is even more annoying.

Me too. In the past, restarting the program would enable me to send the materials. But today, it restarting didnt help. Also, when i click the help faq, it showed me the help faq for farm story.......

Ok, can everyone please provide your device, version, and game versions? I'm experiencing this as well, and I will be reporting it. It helps the Dev team fix it faster if they have the info I'm requesting from you.

I don't know what version of RS. When I go to AppStore, it tells me App is installed, and current version is 1.2.5. There are no updates waiting for me. I was unable to find version in settings or in iPad settings. But I understand there is a new version with "badges"?

You can also find the version when you go to the FAQs page, it will be on the bottom of the square. The badges are listed in there as well, but that's all the info we have on them currently. There isn't an update yet (you have the most current one), but us forum members think the badges might come as an app store update.

Same issue here both BS & RS , happening in both games on two devices... so 4 total for me! Happening for about 3 days now for me... since about Wed evening. Used to be occasional but would usually eventually work... now no requests at all will ever go through... none!!

Same here, I can't accept material requests from my friends (I've got 10 pending). Closing the game then ****ing the process used to work but not anymore.

I'm speaking only as a player here, not a mod. TL is aware of the situation now. But please keeping leaving info! No guarantees on this - but I have in the past seen bugs like this resolved over the weekends. I don't know what issues are deemed worthy enough for weekend staff work, but it has happened. Here's to hoping this is one of them!

Normally, yes. But even if u gifted them something, you could still respond to a parts request IN ADDITION to sending them a gift. Until a few days ago. Now u can't respond to parts requests even if it's been over 24 hours since u gifted, and even if they have received no parts or gifts that day. Get it?

Yeah, this is getting annoying. I feel bad having to decline part requests because of this bug. I hope it's fixed soon. For now, I just write the neighbor a note on their wall asking them to remind me to send the part needed as a gift the next day instead.

You can at least gift them parts :) My son plays also, and I've limited his neighbors as well. I'm hoping TL will have it fixed soon as well.

That is what I am doing. I only have a few nbrs in bakery, so when they send me a material request and it will not go. I manually go send them the item.
This should be fixed soon. Farm story on idevice has the same issue with the new pond and it finally got fixed.(at least I think so...lol I have not had any issues for a while)

I am getting the same message so I set up an account that I will delete when this gets fixed. The phantom account has one neighbor and it's me. I get the same message so it's impossible that the account that I just set up has received 20 parts when only one neighbor can respond to a part request. Please fix this.

Having the same issue on the iPhone4. I've also noticed that when I do receive a gift I don't always get the whole thing. 3 people sent me stew and I ended up with 3 bowls when I went into my inventory, not 450 as I should have.

After seeing this just now I went and tried - sent with no problem! So I'll claim this as "FIXED" for now, but will leave the thread open in case not everyone's has been. If it's still not working for you - try restarting your device, and even delete and reinstall the app (your game is saved). If it's still not working after that - please let us know!

Btw, i havent done anything out of the ordinary. It just worked all of a sudden. I have never reinstalled the app but i do close the app often which usually was no help either. I have had neighbors request replaced by another request from the same neighbor. For example one day the neighbor asks for gear the next day it is replaced by the same neighbor asking for paint.

Yes, encouraging. Hopefully diesnt happen again.

So glad they fixed this! And that it didn't take as long as the 1-plate gift issue seems to be taking to fix (going on 5+ weeks now?). Although this morning it wiped out 10 pending gifts I hadn't accepted yet (they just disappeared from my message feed) and closing and starting the game again didn't help. But I'm so used to the game being so buggy that I can live with this as minor compared to some of the other problems it has.

I was also having the material request issues, in BS and RS, but that was cleared up yesterday afternoon. I now have another issue in RS; no hostess and the customers are stuck at the door. I have turned my phone off and on, but it doesn't change anything. device: iPhone 4 ver. 4.3.5 3G
try moving your register in an open space to see if hostess comes back . Make sure nothing is in front or back of register. Make sure there is a clear path from the door to your tables.

I think this bug is back! Tried to send parts to two neighbors and got this message. Not "your friend has received the maximum of 20 parts" or whateverthehell the verbiage is when you've accepted the max, but the same error message we were receiving last time. This is still buggy. Fifteen minutes ago I accepted a parts request and got a message that my friend had received the max. Then a minute ago, I tried again and the part was sent.

I've also noticed that the game Sometimes won't let you send a part unless you first visit your friend's restaurant. Then you can send the part.

Was able to send a few gifts yesterday, at around 17:00 PDT. But the game still is not allowing me to gift many of my friends. Was only able to receive 10 gifts (I counted them, they are still in inventory) yesterday after 14:30 PDT (which another post in this forum said was the new reset time).

Most of these were Eyeball Stew and Mummy Pizza (which don't earn as many coins as regular Stew).

This happens to me randomly, but only on bakery. I am iPod Touch 4 and newest version of games. It's been better after gift maintenance finished, but has happened a couple times. I end up just denying the requests to make the News popup go away. Sometimes though I'll get this message then when I hit accept again it'll go through and send the part...

Whenever I get the message "unable to send to your friend" or that the friend has maxed out, I exit out of the game (not just close the screen but close the game altogether), open it up again after a few minutes and accept the request. It works regardless of which error message I got before. I'm playing on an iphone 4.

My issue lately with sending part requests is all of a sudden, they are taking 2-4 hours or more to show up. I verified this first by sending myself requests, since I play on two devices. Then when it took so long on my own, I asked numerous neighbors... they verified that at first they weren't receiving the requests... then it would show up 2-4 hours or more later. It used to always come up within minutes or less. But I also just finished building my current items last night, so I am not sending anymore requests out, so I can't test it any longer.
Also, I'm not sure if ALL my requests went thru even... either that, or people were declining them. Because I would send out 20-30 requests, but only get 5-8 parts filled in over a 24 hour period... I find it hard to believe my neighbors were saying no... so either they didn't get it, or it incorrectly told them I couldn't get more, even though I didn't get anywhere NEAR 20 each day. I just kept saying to myself "dang, it's taking forever to finish these last few builds, why can't I get parts for them?" I think the answer was, people weren't getting my requests, or it was saying I was maxed when I wasn't.

I have only had the "unable to send" once or twice since the last "fix"... but what is weird, I have many neighbors who are still building, I see the boxes in their places, they are still asking for parts as gifts... but I'm only getting 1-3 requests per day now, instead of the usual 10-15... so I'm not sure if their requests are even coming through to me at all. I haven't had a chance to ask anyone yet, but it seems strange that they aren't sending them, when that makes it easier to complete an appliance. Makes me wonder tho what's going on with them... seems odd!

The request lag has been ongoing. Specifically the "unable to send..." message. If you just wait a few minutes, you'll be able to send the gift, unless the receiver is maxed. The same thing holds true for the 1 dish gifts. Within a few minutes, it works itself out. You don't need to restart the app.

I usually just go about tipping for a while, then when I check back, both the requests go through and the food gifts are up to the normal totals.

This started a few days before the last update for me. I play on 2 devices. I pod 2nd gen. 4.3.5. and an i phone 2nd generation software up to date. Got both the push update last Friday and updated from the i tunes store on both. I only have 5 neighbors on the i phone, so it's impossible to max out on gifts there. I still get the message from my i pod that my i phone account has been maxed. It still happens when I skip a day when sending gifts to my i phone with the 5 neighbors. I hope this problem gets fixed soon and we are able to send group gifts to all of our neighbors soon. The "out of sync" message when trying to earn collectibles is really frustrating as well. You loose the item you just had on your screen. Usually the item that you needed to redeem the collectible. Other than that, great update.
