(so far).
It would really be nice if Fashion updates were first to come out tomorrow... Hard to wait until late afternoon.

Last few weeks ppl have reported (and it has happened to me) that the free gift with gem purchase offers have been disappearing early.
GM is going to check into this issue. I wanted everyone to know in case an offer comes out today.

I saw a screen on login that said oh no your orders have expired come back earlier next time and gave me the option to recover all for 16 gems, is this part of the update or just the first time I'm seeing it?

probably first time you have seen it. This pops up if you did not get to your orders before they expired. You do not have use the gems unless you want to recover them.
I always choose to let them expire to save the gems.

Not that impressed with the new outfit, even though i AM glad it was a catalogue update - the more outfits the better! But really, we already have a ******d top and star earrings :rolleyes: Not very creative.

yup me too got update... but these things look quite familiar... havent we already had a ******d shirt.... somewhat same as this one... and the star eaarringggss.... they have just changed the color... nothing new created.... and still we get these things with 1 day time.... :( and i dont want to have more black clothes or shoes... it makes my store looks boring.... though tht pink skirt is nice... :)

But the leather jacket... it looks nice but I dont really show my bras in public. yes that includes in a game.

I like the punk rock theme but am really unhappy that you can't wear shirts/dresses under the leather jacket. Team Lava is not thinking. They should've placed that item in one of the accessories tabs in the closet. hrggh. Kinda feel gypped.

updates roll out over a few days. If you did not get them today, you should have them by Tuesday. You will not get a pop-up it will just appear in your catalog.

No idea why the teaser is different than the actual item. Would have much rather seen the leather jacket in the catalog than the star earring. It's also poor planning on their part to have the leather jacket w no capabilities of combining it w a shirt. Who really thought (or didn't) of that! Glad I don't buy avatar items cause that one would have gotten me upset!

Is there a way we can get more design items like the pink couches, etc.?
Instead of just making them all available to gem purchases? Or the magic box or the other boxes?
I understand it's the fair share of things since they purchased it. I just hope free gamers (like me) can also avail of more chic design items than making them all available with gem costs. :)
Maybe we can all work hard for it?

Why isn't my preppy stuff showing in my closet?

(make sure you have the "all" tab marked when looking in the catalog.)

donna you should already have the preppy outfit. Try deleting the game and redown it from the app store.
If still not there , you will need to email support@teamlava.com. Give them your storm ID and tell them that you have not received this update.

when was the free gift offer offered because i didnt get it:( yes you do have to be a certain level to unlock the new catalog. the unlock level is somewhere around Level 20. I really hope the next FS update will be new catalog items for Level 37 and above... im Level 37 and i really would like to unlock catalogs. for me it just makes leveling up more fun.

TL has to fix the jacket... otherwise everyone who made that purchase would be entitled to refunds..see their teaser:

This update was badly planned. First the teaser is misleading by showing the leather jacket w the rest of the outfit. It would have been great to be able to order the jackets instead of the same old star earrings. If I want star earrings I'll get the 30 mins ones, not the 1 day ones!
The worst part of the planing came in w the avatar item.... to make a jacket that you cannot use as a real jacket w things underneath! Its really bad, who made that decision? I would be super upset if I had paid money for it.
With all the great suggestions we have made, how is it that these decisions r still being made?
They turned something that could have been a great update into a great dissappointment.
