Time for another TeamLava IRL!

This event will only be in the forums, with the winners posted on Facebook.

Here's how to play:

I'll post the Splash Screen for Restaurant Story in the fourms (see below, or see your app). Forum members must cook the dish at home (or go out and order it from a restaurant), then take a picture of it and post it here at the forum. It's optional whether or not you want to include the letters, whether via Photoshop or writing the letters in.

Here's the step-by-step:

1) Review the Restaurant Story splash screen.

2) Cook/order the dish, and arrange it to how it looks in the splash screen. Adding letters is optional.

3) Take a picture of the image.

4) Embed this picture in this thread using a service like photobucket.com or imageshack.us; you can paste the [img] code directly into your post to have it displayed in the forums.

5) One entry per user!

6) No new submissions at noon PDT on Monday, Sept. 12.

I'm looking forward to all of your submissions! Since there was some pushback last time on Random selection, plus more pushback at me choosing everything, this event we'll have one or more artists from TL review the entries and decide which one looks best/most accurate.

Winning selection will get 200 Gems, with second place getting 100, and third getting 50.

You can order it in a restaurant, and you can just cut up potatoes and bake them. You don't NEED to fry the potatoes.

Here's mine. Don't really know how to photoshop well, so hopefully my logo will do. Went to a cafe last night and ordered a burger with fries. Normally I prob would have gotten something else with a little more pizazz, but it was actually really good. Especially the fries! My boyfriend rolled his eyes at me when I told him I was taking a picture of it for an online contest. He just doesn't get it! Haha :cool:

This dish was easy to cook but took more than half an hour with 50+ shots and finally we ended up with this picture....and it's PERFECT!!! Well close enough LOL.

The background is made out of a blue bristol board with dark blue crepe streamers and the letters were straight cut out from the original picture, hehe.

Thanks a million to my hubby who helped me out LOTS on making the dish & the perfect picture (you can even see the grill marks on the burger)!

And yes we ate that for dinner tonight ;)
