Technically she became famous because her video was some how 'popular' over YouTube. I don't see how because of all the hatred towards the music video. But YouTube (or somebody, I forgot) said that because of the high number of views she was 'famous'. Which is confusing, considering only 10-15% of the people who know her, like her.
