Not earning mastery gifts

Ever since a few update ago, I haven't been earning any mastery gifts when I gain mastery levels. I have installed and reinstalled, but am still not getting any 1x gifts from leveling up.

Version 1.2.1 evo 4g

Earning the mastery gifts was a temporary fix for another issue. Both issues have since been fixed, so now there is no more mastery plates.

Out of curiosity, what was it a fix for? What was wrong with the game that was "fixed" by giving us 1 plate of something?

Honestly, I don't remember. Maybe someone else does?

Temporary was over 6 months, for me at least. I don't see how giving us something extra each mastery level was to replace anything else since I always got the coins or gems depending on mastery level. Also when Fashion and Nightclub came out they had the gifts and stopped.
