Can't play my own music while on bakery story on iPhone 4?

Whenever I turn on my own music, using the iPod functionality on the iPhone 4, before opening Bakery Story, my own music will stop. I have tried using the double click home button to restart the music, but it stops halfway too.

I have already turned off the game music and other game sounds. Is this a glitch?

The feature to listen to your own music is only currently available in NcS, although thinking about it, it could be a good idea to request. What does everyone else think about having that feature?

I've been wanting this for years. I'm not sure why they won't fix it. I'm not sure if they even fix anything...
