Aww man...you guys get a far better deal than the UK-players whatever popup you get. The amount we pay is more than you would for the same amount of gems, I think (although I'll just go and clarify that!).

It obviously changes with prices falling and rising. At the moment, GBP is slightly more for 50 gems than USD pays for 50 gems.

Hmmmmm the minimum I'm receiving is $10 & of course I'm a sucker for new items so I purchased it. I agree it's not fair that the minimum varies. It should be standard for all.

The minimum price for the "free gift" has been random for awhile. At least since the orange tabby and maybe even before that.

What a bummer. I want it but not for the higher cost. Now that I know sometimes I'll get a lower offer - I'll just have to hold off on the log crossing and hope the next special offer is lower than this current one for me

So they do apply exchange rates? I live in Switzerland, I get charged in CHF (Swiss Francs), if I purchase 580 gems, I get charged CHF 100 (basically one on one, we do not use 1 cent, so USD 99.99, they round it off to 100 and change the currency from USD to CHF) which is approx USD 125.69 right now. Now to actually find out, they do apply exchange rates in some currencies.. this is truly disheartening. And yes, I have already addressed this with TL, unfortunately without success, after nearly 2 months of waiting, all they could advise me was to contact iTunes.

I like that the log gives us another water feature, but I cant bring myself to spend $20 when others are getting it for $10! I think the little frog on top is super cute (is that a frog?)...too bad TL didnt level the playing field for everyone, they just lost a purchase from me : (
