Gems no good for me

Every time I collect a few gems I inadvertently hit something and buy something I don't want and can't use. This time I can't even figure out what I got for the 20 gems that disappeared. I am learning to deal with the " clear rack" blunder. There should be a second and third "are you sure" request. I love this game, but it's like 2 steps forward and 1 step back. I want my gems back! Please fix this!

To find out what happened to the gems you will need to email support@teamlava.com
They will be able to look into your game.
Give them the game , your stormID and the day the gems were used.
They should be able to tell you what they were spent on.
