My Sound Effects Disappeared?

Playing FS on iPhone 3GS running OS 4.1 (FS appears OK in Game Centre). All fine until a couple of days ago when game sound effects mysteriously vanished. Music plays OK, and effects are toggled on (have toggled on/off a few times just to make sure), but I get no effects noises at all - no plough, harvest. animal etc noises. Not a game breaker, but irritating. Deleted app and reinstalled, but this didn't restore the sound effects. Any ideas? Thx.

Still no sound effects, no matter what I try. This is starting to really irritate me. I have FS on two other devices and no problems with them, it's just my iPhone - and that's where I have my "main" farm. I'm really the only one who has encountered this?! :(

I have the same problem. The sounds came back for a while and now, this morning, I noticed they're gone again. It's only the teamlava games, farm, city and restaurant story, that's affected.
