xp points in gifts

does anyone have information on the xp in gift giving? who gets the xp points the person sending or receiving the gift? also, does the person get it by accepting the gifts or does it have to be put out on counters?

Okay, there is no XP gain for anybody when sending gifts. You get the plates of food, that's it.
