Yes this a very popular request and this has been passed on. Hopefully one day.(I have 8 from a year and half ago on farm)

The best thing to do, is try not to send any invites without directly talking to the person first. I have found that alot of new players will
have a generic post asking ppl to add them. They usually play a few days then quit.
Also on the ADD ME threads. I have found some ppl will post they want nbrs, but never respond. You may want to message them on the forum to make sure they are still looking for nbrs.

I have pendings from 9 months ago. They don't even play anymore but I tip them often lol

Yes, please make this change, or have invites EXPIRE if not responded to (this way u don't have to monitor them).

I don't add neighbors anymore, but I give my  in case others want to add me. The pending invites drive me crazy

I agree, this is very much needed. I have at least 5 pending neighbors on every game, some pending for months and I know they no longer play and will stay there forever. :-(

How about we ask TeamLava Programmers if they can program to clear our pending invites once a month. example the 25th of each month.

Not sure that is such a good idea, considering new players may have just sent out an invite on the 24th or early AM their time on the 25th. The person they sent it to may not have received/answered it yet due to their own time zone, and WHAM, invite purged with only a few hours in the que. LOL

Then just have invites expire after 3-4 weeks.

Who's going to get offended if their invite gets removed if they haven't accepted for 28 days?
Plus they are free to resend invite if they still want to be neighbors.

I totally agree, I used to be a programmer and owned a hosting company for many years and the delete button would be a simple fix but they refuse to do so for some reason. I just couldn't imagine a company that doesn't respond to repeated requests on a certain subject matter? I can't beleive that a popular company such as this would so rudely ignore its clients? This type of game is based on friendships or (neighbors) and fixs like this disable the playability of the game and almost ruin the gameplay itself when you can't add new players cause you've had people stuck in your invite wue for so many months. Just horrible, just absolutely horrible to ignore us this way. What happened to personal responsibility and pride in your creation? Is that even something that crosses your minds?

Add my vote. Was tempted to revive an old thread just yesterday on this. If complicated to add a button then deleting any invites more than say a month old would be great. Those old invites from months ago just taunt you everytime you invite someone else or build up to prevent new invites. I am careful now but still, I have been caught out recently by mis-typing!!

tottal dido! I mean come on if u can have weekly updates I'm sure time to take care of bigger derails can be put to use.. I mean we r in a new age. and possibilty of creating new ways to earn gems wuld be awesome.

I've got 18 people who asked to be added as neighbors and NEVER accepted OR deleted my request...
Would it be possible, in a future game update, to add an EDIT button to the INVITE FRIENDS page in oder to cancel these requests?
Thanks for your attention and sorry if this was already asked in another post by someone else [I'm very new to the forum...]

Apparently this aint a gonna happen. I have several in pet hotel who asked me to add them. I sent invite and they never accepted. There should be an expiration or way to delete them.

That would not be any harder than a delete button. A delete button would not be any harder than an invite and accept button.

I like the expire option as well! If they haven't accepted the invite within 30 days, the invite is cancelled! I have about 15 pending ones clogging up my neighbor requests as well! :(

Same. People on forums ask me to add them. So I request. They haven't still accepted. Very frustrating. I have asked her again and again but it seems she is gone.
