Purchased Gems but didnt get the gems or the free item

As many times as I have purchased gems, this has never happened to me. I purchased the gems through the POP up that allows you to get the Free item (the Gong) and shortly afterwards received the email confirming the purchase. It's been almost two hours and my gems or item have still not been deposited. So far I have tried restarting my game, I've tried clearing my phones cache and restarting it, I've tried restarting my phone too.

I have the HTC Droid Incredible, its running Froyo 2.2 and my RS game is up to date.
Please help.

Next try deleting the game and redownload it from the app store. I had to do this when I did not get my hippie wig in fashion.
You will not lose your game.
If you still do not have, they may show up later but I would go ahead and get an email to support@teamlava.com
They may have to push into your game. If you have your receipt for purchase attach that so they can see when you bought the gems.
