Info Needed: Unlocking more Appliances For 24 Gems

When switching out appliances I got a popup banner announcing option to unlock more than 18 appliances for 24 Gems.

How many appliances are unlocked for 24 Gems?

I don't play RS, but I read somewhere on the forum that u can unlock around 56 appliances by paying 24 gems each. For 24 gems u will be able to unlock 1 extra appliance. 18 being being the max u can unlock by reaching the highest level in the game and rest can be purchased with gems.

In closing, a word for TL... TWENTY-FOUR Gems for (1) extra Appliance and no option to buy otherwise. Really? Really?

Um, considering a magic box is 24 gems and you dont even know what you are going to get (yay flower vase), 24 gems for a usable appliance is a smoking deal.

I believe 24 gems are just to unlock a slot for an appliance? You have to buy an appliance (if you didn't have one) in addition to the 24 gems, no?

probably is, but buying an appliance is a completely negligible cost, coins aren't worth anything...
