if you're willing to pay 24 gems for each extra appliances, you can have as many as you want.

Pretty sure, all the stories end at level 96. So I am guessing level 96 would be it? ;o

Plus 42 gems for each Sonic/Forever appliance... That's a lot of money...

18 is the max appliances the game gives you, but you can unlock more slots for gems.

Used to be 24 for an additional appliance, but now it's 40 gems.

Well this has yet to come to Android. I wonder how much it will eventually cost to unlock when it ventures its way here.

I'm putting my guess in as 90 gems.

This is one update I wish they wouldn't give to Android, and I don't know anymore if I'll still be playing by the time we do get an update. 18 appliances are plenty, and right now there is no way possible to accidentally buy an extra appliance slot.

Are you serious? 50 gems for additional appliance in Restaurant Story?

That's weird because other people were reporting that it cost 35 gems for them.

Welcome to the wacky and random world of TL pricing, where additional appliances go from 24 to
35 or 40 or 50 gems!

It's less than 24 for some players.

But for most it is more, based on the threads where people have posted their new costs.

You've posted a couple of times that the cost went down for some players. Can you give us a percentage of people who have gotten a lower cost?

That helps, I suppose, in the statement that TL is random and wacky with their pricing.

LOL, not sure why you even replied then. That just makes it worse.

What goes on in marketing meetings there?

Hey guys! I have a great idea, let's make pricing UNUNIFORM between customers. That will make them really happy. Unless we are all pawns in some socio-economic experiment to find out price points people are responsive to this is all very bizarre. I can't recall offhand of any other company that does the same thing.

It's called price discrimination. Amazon tried (and failed) at this experiment as well. Amazon refunded to everyone that overpaid. Thanks for giving me my laugh for the day---socio-economic experiment....lol, but very true words......

Wow. I just bought my 19th appliance slot a week ago for 24 gems. I just checked and my 20th slot will cost me 50 gems.
I didnt realize the price went up until now. I didnt know people were paying different amounts either.

I spent alot of money on gems in the past. Ive bought 20-30 mystery boxes. Currently my plan is to only earn them by recipe mastery. My plan was to just use every 24 gems i save on appliance slots. Well, until a new mystery box is introduced that really sparks my interest. I am satisfied with paying 24 gems per slot.

I definitely will not be buying a slot for 50 gems knowing that my previous slot cost me 24 gems.

Is this random or does the 19th cost 24 gems, 20th cost 50 gems, and so on?????

They changed the prices of slots, expansions, and consructable parts for gems in the last week or two. Most people's prices went up, many like yours were significant increases.

So by the time droid players are able to buy extra appliance, we are gonna arfe to pay more gems for that luxury?

Yes, most of us will. TL also lowered the rate of earning constructables so we won't enjoy the higher rate that iOS users were estatic about until they got their rates lowered. And when we get the sushi counter we will have a higher rate to buy the constructable parts for gems, if we choose to buy them or accidentally buy them.

Hey!!! My appliance slot is back down to 24 gems.

My 19th slot cost me 24 gems last week. The price for my 20th slot was 50 gems. Now its back down.

Just thought you guys want to know. I guess its normal for it to change regardless of purchasing or not.

For me its simple. The more attainable items are the more ill be inclined not only to spend my gems but purchase more gems with $$$. Im taking a break from buying gems for now.
