Unable to purchase gems

1) iOS 4.3.5
2) Fashion Story ver 1.2.4

It seems that the purchase gems icon on FS does not allow purchases. When I tabbed on the gems icon, a blank screen appears. This happened after the 40% sale started popping up on all the other story apps, and there is no "sale" pop up in fashion story.

Anybody have the same problem?

Android users have not been able to purchase gems for a coupls of months.
I was able to purchase twice on my device. Can't do it anymore now since they updated the game.
I'll just spend my money somewhere else...

I had this problem last week. Could not purchase. I am on iPhone 4
I deleted the game then re downloaded it from app store. You will not lose game
Then I could purchase the gems.
