How do I exit this game?

Sorry if this is a dumb question. As iOS 4.1 allows multi-tasking, seems like the game continues to run even when I press the home button to exit. So how do I properly exit the game so that the game refreshes when I re-enter it? If not I won't know whether all my buildings got cleaned or whatever...

Well, I don't have a device that supports multitasking, but I know a little about it (lol Lynyrd Skynyrd xD)

You have to double click the home button, then it'll appear all the running apps on your device, that's the way to close it properly.
