Thanks for posting the pictures! The fact that I could possibly win an item for my avatar is what keeps me from purchasing gems. Wish our avatar would be the one ringing the register! :)

Yup, I ended up wasting 24 gems and got a tiny pink choker that you can barely see. Now I'm nervous about opening another, but there are some things in the magic boxes that I would love to get (which is why I'm tempted to try again...). I wish the avatar stuff wasn't included, just gifts you could actually place in your boutique.

I loooove the horse carriage but I'm also scared to get something for my avatar. I wish TL will split these avi stuff in a special box so, or just come with a box for deoration. I don't want to spend 24 gems for something for my avatar which I don't care about.

Once you purchase from surprise box. It will still stay in your store. You can purchase as many times as you want. You get one random item for 24 gems.. You may get duplicates...

I agree with Erica. There are a lot of things I'd like to have but for real money I sure don't want to be stuck with something for the avatar. I could care less about that. What's in the closet is fine and even there I won't spend gems, only coins. When they make everything for our shop then maybe I'll buy one but til then I'll save my money but thanks very much for giving us the pictures. Just for fun, I wish others would post their pictures here as well.

Oh, btw, what do the numbers mean on each picture (3rd, 4th, etc)?
the numbers are the rarity of the item. 4th would be the least rare and 1st is the rarest (meaning how likely you get the item)

You will only get coins, not sure how much but usual ballpark figure runs around 600 to 650

Agree with you all. I've purchased these boxes about 8 times total, and have only gotten stuff for my store twice. The other 6 were like shoes, or a stupid veil for my avatar. I was really disappointed.24 gems for a veil? Or shoes? But there's stuff I really want for my store, so I'm tempted to try again too :(

The items that were in the photos are not all you can get. You can try opening a box, but be careful: sometimes, the items are very bad (i've heard about the light in the faux fur box and I got a pink ottoman in the groovy box, and I've heard about the necklaces that are so small you cant see it). Good luck getting something you want!
I'm not sure if I want to open a box again, but I really want to! I want the bow hair and the bow boots... but based on my past experiences (pink ottoman and bridal mannequin; didnt like any of them) Im not sure if I should open again. Is it worth it to buy a box again?
Oh about the boxes: Just click on the box you want to buy. Then, wait for a few seconds and a box will pop up telling you the item you got and the rarity (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th: 1st is rarest and 4th is most common). If it is an avatar item, you can find it in your closet (clutch, shoes, dress, etc). If it is a decoration, it will be in the design tab. The popup will tell you where to find it. If you cant find your item in both places, you should contact TeamLava about it. If you dont like what you get, you can sell it, but you wont get your gems back. So the box items are nonrefundable, so make sure you really want to buy the box.

Each Box is designed with a certain amount of items Sweetie. There is a Ongoing Master List of Magic box items from each Story game, I think it's the 3rd or 4th fro the top in the Main discussion lobby,
You will receive 1 random prize for each 24 gem purchase, something as tiny as an unnoticeable jewelry piece up to the Grand prize, each box is random you must always remember this, sometimes you might get 10 couches if you repeatly try.

Heres a good tip, if u have gems on hand when a brand new box comes out, Dontgo anywhere in your store.
No checking messages, no collecting tips, go straight to the box, most times you will get a 2nd or 3rd prize instead of a 4th prize. And if The Wheel of Fortune Turns Favorable for You the Grand Prize.
I got 2 Zen Mansions and many other things using this method(both were my 1st & 2nd Attempts at the NEW magic box).Doesnt work well after sometime has past,only on fresh advertised boxes. GOOD Fortune for You My Dear.

I didn't even know what those surprise boxes were and out of curiosity I clicked on the magic box twice. The first click was ugly white boots and the 2nd click was the blonde bow hair. Then I realized I had spent almost 50 gems and freaked!!!!! Oh well, at least I have the cool bow hair! Now I know!

Thanks for all the pictures you have posted for us Fashion story players. Yes sometimes ppl will copy your photos (they have done mine too from update pages)and put on the big master list.
It really is not being rude, we are just trying to have big list to be able to give to ppl when they post a thread looking for a specific item .

Oh, my first time to open the faux box but I only got an extremely tiny floor dark light! The TL doesn't use their mind to encourage their player, if they give me a better item may be I will buy more gems by money, unfortunately they were too upset me! It didn't worth for 24 gems, the bigger floor lights under the decoration items only costed for 3 gems, so how come the tiny floor light costed for 24 gems?
By the way, I found my 36 gems disappeared in the bakery story and it was used in the creme colour wall which I never buy!? I even sent my queries to TL but there was only a reply to tell me no recovering for any misused gems or coins. But I never use!
