Get the update for RS. As far as I know the building appliances are available for both idevices and android users. Get the update .. that should solve the problem .

That is correct, most likely you are on android and have not updated.

If you are having trouble getting the update in the app/market store, you can always delete your current game , then go re down load .
you will not lose your game progress.

You should be able to go to "My apps" and it will sow you all apps that have updates. Depending on the carrier, you could either update all apps, or (like mine right now, annoying me badly) you have to update each app individually.
