I got a new iPod and game started over! Isn't there a way to log back in? It won't let me enter a my old ID because it's already been taken (by me). I just want to pick up where I left off!

i have the same problem, i get a new iphone (3gs -> 4g) and now?!?

These instructions do work for transferring from one device to another. I followed them when switching from an iPTouch to a new iPad.

TL, it may be helpful to have this instruction set cross-posted. There are many people who may not play Farm Story and not know to look there.

It works! Just click on the link and follow the steps. Then turn your phone off and turn it back on and you have the progress of all the games AND your City Story!!

I tried to transfer my account but I don't see the tab you are talking about. I went to setting like you said and still didn't see it. Please help!

Those tabs don't exist in City Story. I think they might exist in Farm Story. If you transfer one TeamLava / Storm8 game, it'll transfer them all.

I did it a different way though...

Go to www.teamlava.com. Press the transfer account button. Follow the instructions for plugging your old device and new device into itunes to get the UDID (see the link below for how to get the UDID). This transfer wizard is designed to transfer your Farm Story account. So if you don't have it, download it and install it onto your OLD device. Then put in that you're level 1 (not your City Story Level).

Even though it's made for the Farm Story account, it'll transfer your City Story Account too (same with RS, ES, or BS if you have any of that).
