They come out of some of the magic boxes/shells/etc. as the rare item. 1% chance, IIRC, and you need to have an open appliance slot when you buy the box or you can't get that prize...

Personally I think it'd be annoying to have just 1 might appliance - it would always be out of completion sync with everything else ..

But if I had a full array of them I wouldn't mind :p
