The Great RS Update Date: August 5!

Well, it's that time of week again. It's almost Friday, the Great Update Date!

What I am hoping for:

1. 2 or more New Recipes. (MORE THEN EVER NOW)
2. A new appliance
3. Some cool suprise!

Let's hope for something great!

I just speculating here, but several people have gotten teaser pop ups for new foods! Maybe they'll be here tomorrow?

I have always wondered, what do these teasres look like? What are they? How do you get them? Who gets them?

It's usually the newer players. Remember when you first started out (I think I do, but not sure, lol), every time you reach a new level, you'd get the pop up "Congratulations! You've reached level XX! You've unlocked these items!".

I'm just hoping for new recipes, crops, and clothes. New ice cream and drinks would be nice but it's probably too soon to hope for that. I really want new clothes for my avatar... She is getting bored with her wardrobe :(

these weekly updates are pushed into the games automatically, so you do not have to manually download the update.

I am level 48. The appliance screen now says that if you pay 24 gems, you can unlock the next appliance slot without leveling up.

Also, it now says you can find your gift in your inventory under the edit tool.

No new recipes, that comes later on the TL update.

As of this morning I still haven't gotten the update of Ramen or Pork Buns.  I was so confused because I saw one of my neighbors cooking these things and I was like  "what appliance is that on?"

I had to look this up. If anybody else is unfamiliar with it, it is apparently what we call lo mein on the east coast of the US :)

Actually, Lo Mein is thin noodles.(Like spaghetti) Chow Mein is larger noodles. (I think)

No, mein is noodle in Cantonese. Lo means mixed as in perhaps noodles being boiled then sauce poured and mixed into the noodles. Chow means fried, so chow mien, will be fried noodles.
