requesting materials

How do you request materials and how do you know what you need ?

Okay, so I'm new to this too cuz I'm on an android but from what I can tell, you have to place your machine on your bakery after you purchase it. Then, you tap on the box and it says "tap again to manage" and a window pops up that shows what you need and how much you have of what you need. So, for instance, to complete the ice cream maker I would need ten gears. On there, it would show that I have two out of the ten needed. Also, in that same window, it's going to give you the option of requesting the parts from your friends. Did this help?
