Well, when you try to place a building, it means you can move it 1/2 way. So items like the hedge and the alleys can be placed more strategically.

I don't get it!!! I bought that pink Shanghai tower and moved a bunch of stuff around, and was able to move half tiles. Today it's back to the usual way.
Glitch?? Maybe testing??

Just download City Story Valentine's day. Then you can move half a tile. It works with your current city no problem. Plus you don't get those annoying extra animations when you clean or pickup the cleaning!

I would LOVE to have half-tile placement in City Story. It might even be higher on my priority list than 4-way rotations.
