how do i create my avatar?

I read the FAQ on how to change my avatar to be like me, but on my profile it doesn't have a "change" button. The same thing is wrong with my friend's. Help?! My ID is aimeearrgh. I don't understand. :(

If you are talking about in fashion story, the avatar that you can dress... MY understanding is on android devices the option of the closet where you can change your avatar is not available.
