Can't rotate the diner table?

I purchased the diner table and was hoping to add a bar to my restaurant. I can't rotate it though, the option is greyed out. I understand that most tables, you wouldn't need to rotate, but this one should be rotatable (is that a word?) because of its design. The cupcake table in BS can be rotated, why not this one? Am I just missing something here since it's too early in the morning?

Diner tables only go a certain way. I used to have it in my places. I hated it. Well actually I put some of the tables back.
