Why am i not getting the free gift with gem perchase offer ?

I have an android and my girl has an android on the same account as me , she is offered a free gift with a gem purchase ( vip lounge ) . But I have not yet received the screen that offers it ?

The pop ups for free gifts discounted gems,etc are pushed out randomly . Not everyone will get them

That cant be true , this is a first and i find it hard to believe for every other sale and gift offer me and my girl where randomly picked til now .
to give sales and free gifts to random people is a slap in the face to paying costumers . if that's how it is I am no longer buying gems and possibly doing an uninstall for good .
