A hybrid combination that has been used a lot will not lessen your odds of winning. Our production team is looking for thought and effort put into the concepts and will use a combination even if it has been used before.

Whoever receives the message gets a pop-up asking if the system will notify the person who wrote the message after it's been read or not.
It's possible to cancel the request, so the person won't get notified - this is probably what happened in your case.

They probably don't read every entry... They probably randomly select the entries, then read to see if each of those selected got the answers correct. If correct, they are made winners, and if wrong, they select another one to look at. After they have the right amount of winners, there is no need to continue to read all the other entries... I think this is more efficient than looking at each and every entry for most of the contests. The only exception would be if the answers are different for everyone, and they have to select the best answers... But, if the answers are all the same (like the crossword and egg hunt contests), there is no need to open and read everyone's entries.

I was talking about the "randomly selected" part of the contest winners. Most of the contests I've seen here usually do both, prizes for the first X entries (to reward the quick ones), and then extra prizes to X amount of players randomly selected from the remaining entries.

For instance the Crossword contest had three first prizes for the first three entries, and obviously, they would look at the first entries for those winners. Then the second prizes were randomly selected, and this is where I think they don't have to read each and every entry.

I didn't even know about the forums till after the contest ended! That's why I want another contest like that. Besides, I specifically remember some awesome Goth outfits made by a certain someone... I would just like to say that I think that you should do a dragon story apple store update on the I POD and so you can put up random dragons on offer in the trading portal and a list of offers appears from the person who wants it. For example say you had a Cupid dragon and someone offers you a left heart dragon and you want that dragon you tap it and then the it trades the 2 dragons and then they both have the dragons they want. Everyones happy.

Everyones happy.

Interesting idea but for me that takes the fun out breeding dragons, when you go through all the trail and errors it makes it worth it when you finally see that dragon egg in your nest that took you forever to breed. Plus when you breed the same dragons over that enables you to trade the dragons for gems you need for crafting.
No offence but the whole trading dragons seems like a cop out for a person to impatient to stick with the breeding process.

I'm really confused, how do I send a picture to TLcontests...

This is what I find easier to do:
create an account on imgur.com,
upload the pic you want to sent to TL contest,
when its done uploading click it.
There will be options above the pic, right click on "direct link" and copy the contents,
on the contest page click TLcontest and it will take you to the "send a new message" page
right click in the box and paste in the new message, the link will be pasted and you can hit send.

This is seriously the hardest "Spot the Differences" I have ever done. Maybe I am trying too hard, lol.

Yup. it took quite a while to spot all the differences, the images are too small and when you zoom in it just blurs so you really can't make the image out.

I love all the contests, but I know I'm not the only one using an iPod to play these wonderful games, so the spot the difference contest didn't really work for me. Also, in designing the bakery and such, I know you may not have a lot of time on your hands, and if you don't, it's perfectly fine to keep doing this, but I believe it shouldn't just be randomly chosen, (the winner) but should be based on aspects of creativity like neatness, niceness, uniqueness, etc. Thank you for your time!

Thanks for the feedback! We try to keep our contests varied enough where sometimes the winners are random and sometimes winners are determined by speed, creativity, artistic ability, or knowledge.

Actually if your on the iPad, you can just save the image by pressing and holding the template image and pressing 'Save Image'. It'll be in your photos and you can just open Sketchbook Express and in the Layer Editor on the top right, there will be an icon with a flower with a plus sign on it. You can, simply click the Image icon and it will ask if you want to upload from computer or from a URL, simply choose computer, hit "Browse," and the iDevice will take you to your library from there.
