Not able to get another drink machine or easy appliance

I finished 1 drink machine, tried to get another
I get the message that you have to get parts from your friends to build yes I know that!
I don't get the "box" of what looks like materials
I put all my other appliances in storage and tried , nothing.
I tried easy appliance, same thing, nothing.
I look in my gifts because people are sending parts, no parts in gifts
With as many parts I've received I should have had 4 drink machines already !

This could mean you are going to have to touch it at the very top center of the button for the drink machine, that's what I do. Otherwise you'll just keep getting that popup.

Gifted parts are not shown in My Gift lift, but they still wait on servers, and they'll pop out in your easy appliances when you'll actually get it.

Try hitting the drink machine icon in the upper/upper left region. I too was very annoyed at first
