I Play Bakery Story Daily , & Genuinely Enjoy The Game.
However with the latest Updates, after the actual game loads Theirs about 2-3 pop-ups. Usually about the Weekly Update, and Gem purchuses.
Now the Pop-Ups are 4-5 and the Gem Purchuses click themselves. Dramatically slowing down the game. If anything can be done to limit these, it'd be greatly appreciated !

I agree the pop ups are annoying! Enough already.

Buy the gems for crying out loud:p! How much difference can 6 gems make? I downloaded ZS because I was excited about it; I didn't wait for promotions! Same here. If TL are advertising it, the chances are that it's good (which it is - perhaps not my favourite, but I'm sure they'll make more games). I think it's also something to do with Apple regulations. I'm sure that they'd offer gems if they could.

Don't expect for free gem for downloading free apps. Apple is enforcing their policy and TL & others has to comply or their app will be remove from iTunes. For Droid users, you can still get the free gem for downloading - that's if TL is giving them out.

It makes a huge difference if someone doesn't have the money for gems. I know that Apple doesn't allow it anymore but I downloaded to get the popup off. I don't like the kind of games that are geared towards violence (in my opinion) so I deleted it afterwards.

I guess if we're downloading the app to get that pop up off then TL found a way to influence the ranking without break Apple policy.

Not that it's anyone's business what I do with my money, but I bought gems last week. You're telling me you expect me to download a game I have zero interest in simply to get the pop-up off of my screen? I don't think so. I shouldn't have to do that. If it had popped up 2 or 3 times I opened the game and then went away, it wouldn't be a problem but it pops up when you open it, you x out of it and it pops up again and keep coming up on the side as news. I should not have to download a game I don't want in order to get rid of YET ANOTHER intrusive pop-up. If it's true that Apple has changed regulations, that's fine, but TL shouldn't be harassing me with pop-ups every five seconds when I'm clearly not interested. The same goes for the sale pop-ups.

That's another good point. I'm not interested in skewing game popularity results.

Yeah, I know. Apple isn't really all geniuses, after all. If they think an app is great just because it gets a bunch of downloads then they need to take another look because I'll go through those "top apps" and see most of them (at least, last I checked) have a 3-star rating or less.

That is my main point in this point; It no longer seems like a game when you're harrased by constant pop-ups.

Remember that the Topic of this discussion is not Gem Rewards. It's simply the mass amount of Interuptions to a really great Game.
I agree that Gems are a problem with the game. But solving it with Gem Rewards will only lead to more Pop-Ups.

One topic leads to another, and there's nothing wrong with that. Both are connected. My point was that the pop-ups are intrusive and don't even provide me with something I'd want. I have no incentive to download it other than to get rid of the pop-up, and that's not something I'm going to do even if they drive me crazy.

I'll let the engineers know re: the pop-ups. But please keep this thread's discussion centered on Bakery Story.
