It says: Serve 6 Brownies. OK, no problem

It says: Serve 4 Lattes. However, the counter at right-hand-side shows 0/8. Meaning I have to serve 8 lattes.

Must mean prepare and serve.. Dunno.

You get 4 for prep and 4 for serving. There are a couple that broke down like that.

Yeah, that's what it is, the prep and the serve count in total as 8. I completed those weeks ago but I remember that.
